SPI's loss, IMO
Kirk Mills 338 Third Place
Former Alderdude Fred here.
I rx'd bad data on the results, and passed that data to Sandy Feet. I wrote down numbers, and had 199 for Kirk. I apologize to anyone reading the bad data.
I did not open the spreadsheet email until discussing this with Kirk today thus did not know that the data i had written down was only kirk's election day vote number.
Here is the complete data that came in the unoficial email:
Election Day Early Total
KIRK MILLS 199 139 338
JO ANN EVANS 196 167 363
FRED MALLETT 146 113 259
ALEX GROSSMAN 64 41 105
SAM LISTI 10 8 18
PHILLIP MONEY 231 139 370
Makes me wonder how many of the registered voters voted. The way it worked, you could vote for Mayor and then 2, 1, or no aldermen - so you can't do the math from the numbers here.
Judging by the crowd, it looked like a good turnout. My only beef was that it was too cramped in there, with Town, PISD, and Water Board all going off at once ... I actually came back after a few hours because of the line out the door. /Sam
