Where Were YOU When the Lights Went Out?
I guess Saturday night of Texas week would be the worst possible time for the electricity to go out. But I bet Saturday night of Bikefest would run a close second.
And that is what just happened. At least on my block. Which is the same block as the police department. Where things got very busy during and just after that five minute period when
the lights went out. 9:30 PM. Saturday night. Bikefest.

This must have been major outage as the power went off here in PI also. Took us a while, but we finally realized that the RV we're living in had battery-powered lights! Still learning....

Well I had my clothes on, lit a few candles, and the bikers got real quiet. Then the lights came on and the bikers went nuts! There were cheers and lots of that booming sound that only a Harley can make.
They're gone now, a shame since they really could have used an extra no-rain day. Lord knows the local businesses could have, too.
we were at Las Villas.. we had just turned the tv off.. ha had a van on next to the bed it went off I got up looked outside & it was dark everywhere except for a few generator lights.. The couple in the other room the lady told the man..lol did you cut the tv off, they were watching the game. I can just imagne the bikers that were out partying!!! lol
